Jorge Rivera, a professional fighter from Milford, Mass., with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, demonstrates mixed martial arts techniques for servicemembers on Camp Ramadi, Iraq, Oct. 19, 2008. Rivera, Heath Herring and Joe Lauzon, all UFC fighters, held clinics at several forward operating bases throughout Iraq during an 11-day trip to the Middle East. The fighters taught service members grappling techniques, stand-up fighting, and fighting in the clinch. After the clinic, the fighters took time for autographs and photos with everyone who came out to the event.
