    Boston native, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Marquis of the 1035th Survey and Design Detachment, attached to the Portland, Maine-based 133rd Engineer Battalion, stands by and belays Eastbrook, Maine native, Spc. Michael Davis also with the 1035th as he climbs one of the various routes on the bouldering wall created by Marquis. Marquis has used his extensive climbing experience to teach soldiers basic mountaineering tasks while in Afghanistan to include classes on knot tying, repelling, and basic mountaineering skills. Marquis’s rock climbing wall is a product of the 1035th but has also provided hours of recreation for troops in the 133rd Eng. Bn. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
