Cpl. Dexter R. Thorpe engages simulated enemy forces during combatant diver and beach reconnaissance training April 24 in the Central Training Area. During the training, Marines used the MK 25 rebreather system to perform an underwater insertion and beach reconnaissance. Once arriving on the beach, the Marines came under simulated enemy fire.
