Republic of Korea and U.S. Marines attach a component of an improved ribbon bridge to a bridge erection boat April 22 during Korean Marine Exchange Program 14-6 on the Hysong River in Pohang, Republic of Korea. An IRB provides water-crossing capabilities either as a floating bridge or multibay raft for tactical vehicles. The ROK Marines are with the 1st ROK Marine Engineer Battalion, 1st ROK Marine Division. The U.S. Marines are with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
