Republic of Korea Marine Lance Cpl. Park Ki Tae, right, and U.S. Marine Cpl. Anthony B. An IRB provides water-crossing capabilities either as a floating bridge or multibay raft for tactical vehicles. Tae is a combat engineer with the 1st ROK Marine Engineer Battalion, 1st ROK Marine Division. Lopez is a combat engineer with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
