Senior Airman Eric Miller, communications technician assigned to the 8th Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron, performs a pre-flight inspection of a C-17 Globemaster III, Nov. 19, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The 8 EAMS member is responsible for ensuring the C-17 is capable of flying and carrying out its mission. Miller, a native of Chicago, is deployed from Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
