USS Toledo (SSN 769) prepares to get underway after completing a four-day electromagnetic trial period at the TRIDENT Refit Facility's Magnetic Silencing Facility (MSF) at Submarine Base Kings Bay, GA. USS Toledo's visit to Kings Bay provided a unique opportunity to collect valuable data for the development of new software and procedures at the MSF, and allowed the submarine to return to sea after a minimal amount of time in a greatly improved magnetic condition.
