Air transportation technicians assigned to the 8th Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron, with an assist from crew chiefs from the 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, prepare a load of munitions for transport on a C-17 Globemaster III, Dec. 3, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The C-17 is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases or directly to forward bases in the deployment area. The cargo is being transported further into the Central Command area of responsibility in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
