Marines with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron participate in a squadron run at Cherry Point May 22. The run served as a final opportunity for Lt. Col. Charles J. Basham to motivate and inspire his Marines prior to his change of command that day. Basham, the former commanding officer of the squadron, will be assigned to 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing staff. I have thoroughly enjoyed my two years here, said Basham. It has been an honor of a lifetime to command this squadron.
