Matthew McFarlane, the commander of the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, places the Order of Saint Maurice Medallion, an award recognizing those who have made a significant impact on the infantry community, onto Maj. Mark Wade, the Spartan Brigade’s operations officer, during an award ceremony May 30, 2014, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
