Chris Gosnell, an aerospace engineer with the AV-8 Fleet Support Team based out of Cherry Point, N.C., inspects pieces of debris at the AV-8B Harrier II crash site in Imperial, Calif., Monday. The process of recovering pieces of debris from the site allows the gathering of evidence vital to the investigation of the crash. Recovery efforts will allow for environmental remediation to take place.
