Marines from Marine Wing Support Squadron 371 other elements of 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., continue to sift through the debris and inspect pieces of wreckage from the AV-8B Harrier II crash site while the impact site is further cordoned off during the cleanup process in Imperial, Calif., Monday. “Public safety is our overall goal,” said Miguel Colon Jr., the chief of police of the City of Imperial. “Once the military leaves the city, we’ll be in charge and security will entail no one enters or damages equipment on scene.”
