The Iraqi national flag now flies above the entrance to Forward Operating Base War Eagle in the Adhamiyah District of Baghdad, Jan. 1. The flag was raised in a morning ceremony to mark the base now falling under Iraqi control as Iraq begins the transition to full independence.
