New Jersey Army National Guard Sgt. Joseph Williams, of Phillipsburg, and Trenton, N.J., native Sgt. Phillip Purnell, both of the Baghdad, Iraq, based Joint Area Support Group-C prepare to block off a road to provide security for President George Bush's last commander-in-chief visit to the troops and Iraqi leaders on Dec. 14, 2008. The Soldiers of the Headquarters, Headquarters Company, 50th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, when not deployed joined the ranks with their active duty Air Force and Navy representatives to provide the presidential motorcade safe passage to a meeting with Iraqi leaders just outisde Baghdad's International Zone.
