Maj. Gen. William N. Reddell III, the Adjutant General of the New Hampshire National Guard listens to Capt. Allen Corey II of Lyman, N.H., the Commander of C Company, 3rd Battalion, 172nd Infantry Regiment (Mountain), as he updates his commander on his soldiers’ status. About 100 soldiers from the New Hampshire Army National Guard’s mountain company are in Ft. Polk, La. training with their parent unit, the 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Mountain), which is comprised of about 4,000 soldiers from 21 states. They will be the only National Guard brigade to complete a "Decisive Action Training Environment" rotation at the Joint Readiness Training Center this year.
