Maj. Gen. William N. Reddell III, the Adjutant General of the New Hampshire National Guard, Lt. Col. Erik Fessenden, Commander of the 54th Troop Command listen to Capt. Allen Corey II of Lyman, N.H., the Commander of with C Company, 3rd Battalion, 172nd Infantry Regiment (Mountain), as he updates his commanders on his soldiers’ status. About 100 soldiers from the New Hampshire Army National Guard’s mountain company are at Ft. Polk, La. training with their parent unit, the 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Mountain), which is comprised of about 4,000 soldiers from 21 states. They will be the only National Guard brigade to complete a "Decisive Action Training Environment" rotation at the Joint Readiness Training Center this year.
