Maj. Thomas Ryan, 99th Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron, mission pilot, takes off for his 2000 hour flight at the helm of a U-2 Dragon Lady, Jan. 9. Maj. Ryan is the 25th pilot to reach the 2000 hour milestone. Maj. Ryan is deployed to the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing from the 9th Reconnaissance Squadron, Beale AFB, Calif. and hails from Sneads Ferry, N.C. Calif.
