SHWH, located on the sprawling Parrie Haynes Ranch south of Fort Hood, is an organization dedicated to healing all who have experienced trauma, PTSD, and secondary PTSD. Secondary PTSD is suffered mainly by the children of service members who have PTSD, as they can be traumatized by changes in their parents' personalities and the conflicts that result from those changes.
