Pfc. Timo Bretschneider, from Bel Air, Md., of Lima Company, 3d Battalion, 3d Marines (3/3), provides overwatch security for a road in the city of Barwanah, Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom. 3/3 is deployed with Regimental Combat Team 7, I Marine Expeditionary Force (FWD), in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq (Multi-National Force-West) to develop the Iraqi Security Forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic government reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi Reconstruction.
