U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Jason D. Humphries, an Auburn, Washington, native, demonstrates how to perform a proper functions check of an M240B medium machine gun before starting a patrol training event July 22 during Korean Marine Exchange Program 14-12 at the 1st Republic of Korea Marine Division Base, Pohang, South Korea. KMEP is a series of bilateral training exercises used to enhance interoperability between U.S. and ROK Marines. Humphries is a light armored vehicle crewman with 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion currently assigned to Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program.
