Illumination rounds fired by Alpha Battery, 2nd Battalion, 77th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, light up a remote hill south of Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, Aug. 22, 2014. The rounds were part of a shoot that allowed the 2-77 FA to register, or zero, their M777A2 howitzers and provided training for a fire support team from Delta Company, 1st Bn., 12th Inf. Regt., 4th IBCT, 4th Inf. Div. who called the rounds down range.
