Staff Sgt. Eric M. Koluch, an intelligence Marine with 2nd Intelligence Battalion, II Marine Expeditionary Force, and a native of Baltimore, gives the “Road to War” Power Point brief to soldiers of the British Army’s 5, 6, and 7 Military Intelligence Battalions, all part of 1 Intelligence Surveillance Target Acquisition Brigade, during the first day of knowledge sharing classes as part of exercise Phoenix Odyssey, Sept. 8, 2014. The “Road to War” is a detailed description of the scenario the team will face during the upcoming days of bilateral training. Over the next 10 days, the Marines will work side-by-side with British soldiers to learn their counterpart’s procedures and improve their joint intelligence capabilities.
