Sailors heave a line during a replenishment at sea between the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Gridley (DDG-101) and Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS John Ericsson (T-AO 194). Gridley is underway as part of the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group. Carl Vinson and its embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17, are on deployment in the 7th Fleet area of operations supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
