Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh cuts the inaugural ribbon Feb. 26 at the new Defense Fuel Supply Point at the Port of Doralleh. USS Vicksburg, currently on a scheduled deployment to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations became the first U.S. Navy ship to refuel at DFSP Djibouti. MSO help set the conditions for security and stability in the maritime environment and complement the counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional nations. MSO deny international terrorists use of the maritime environment as a venue for attack or to transport personnel, weapons or other material.
