Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) arrives at Naval Station Norfolk July 30 after a four-month humanitarian and civic assistance mission to seven countries in Latin American and the Caribbean called Continuing Promise 2009 (CP09). CP09 is the fourth Continuing Promise mission. It builds on the partnerships gained during USS Boxer (LHD 4) and USS Kearsarge (LHD3) visits to the region for Continuing Promise 2008 and Comfort's visit in 2007.
