Military Sealift Command 3rd Officer Marc Navy, of New York City, keeps a keen watch on the radar system at the bridge aboard USNS Rappahannock (T-AO 204) as the ship lines up to enter the traffic separation scheme inbound for Singapore during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Singapore 2014. In its 20th year, CARAT is an annual, bilateral exercise series with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations, to include Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Timor-Leste.
