Donald "Willy" Williamson, left, looks at a Kadomatsu after it was donated to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light 51(HSL-51), at the squadron's hangar. Other attendees include Japan Maritime Self Defense Force VX-51 Commanding Officer CAPT Kenji Akashi, middle, and HSL-51 Operations Officer LCDR Daniel Fillion. Kadomatsu is a traditional decoration of the New Year, placed in front of homes, to celebrate the beginning of the New Year.
