Lt. Gen. Lee Hong Hee, commandant of the Republic of Korea Marine Corps, passes through rainbow sideboys on the main deck of the amphibious command ship USS Blue Ridge. Lee visited the flagship, March 18, to meet with Vice Adm. John M. Bird, commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, and Lt. Gen. Richard C. Zilmer, commanding general, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Blue Ridge and embarked personnel are participating in Key Resolve 2009, a bilateral exercise held annually with the Republic of Korea.
