A Marine with 2nd Maintenance Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, keeps watch as a group of M88A2 Hercules Recovery Vehicles patrol along a trail in the woods on the way to perform a recovery operation training exercise aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Sept. 29, 2014. The Hercules can tow and rescue other vehicles, weighing up to 70 tons, using a winch and pulley system. Marines and sailors with the battalion conducted a field exercise Sept. 18-Oct. 1, 2014, to reinforce their ability to accomplish battalion-level, mission essential tasks.
