Corporal Orry Kraczek, a heavy equipment mechanic with 2nd Maintenance Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, and Rice Lake, Wis., native, tosses a practice hand grenade prior to live-fire training with the M67 Fragmentation Hand Grenade aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Sept. 25, 2014. Practicing grenade throws helps Marines gain confidence in using the M67 in a combat situation. Marines and sailors with the battalion conducted a field exercise Sept. 18-Oct. 1, 2014, to reinforce their ability to accomplish battalion-level, mission essential tasks.
