Corporal Cyrus Bhondari, a heavy equipment mechanic with 2nd Maintenance Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, and San Jose, Calif., native, takes cover in a cement bunker after throwing an M67 Fragmentation Hand Grenade aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Sept. 25, 2014. Marines and sailors with the battalion conducted a field exercise Sept. 18-Oct. 1, 2014, to reinforce their capability to accomplish battalion-level, mission essential tasks. M67 familiarization is part of annual training, which Marines participated in and successfully completed while going through the battalion’s field exercise.
