Staff Sgt. Jose Sanchez, a Chicago native and 553rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion's motor sergeant and Spc. James Ogletree, the battalion SAMS 2E clerk and Kearns, Utah native are conducting logistics information warehouse training in the battalion maintenance support shop in order to improve visibility on tracking parts. Both have been deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 08-10 for 12 months. The 553rd CSSB Support Operations Maintenance section, 10th Sustainment Brigade, provides logistical and maintenance support for the 553rd CSSB and surrounding units on Victory Base Complex.
