Alan Estevez, principal deputy undersecretary of defense for acquisition, technology and logistics, addressed the U.S. Special Operations Command acquisition employees regarding current issues within the Department of Defense acquisition community during the Special Operations Forces Acquisition Summit held at U.S. Special Operations Command, MacDill AFB, Fla., Oct. 30, 2014. The goal of the summit is to synchronize acquisition, technology, and logistics activities and resolve issues which can impact USSOCOM’s ability to accomplish its mission.
