A Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle used by the 328th Brigade Support Battalion, 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, sports a wire mesh deflector on Camp Taji. The apparatus is bolted onto both sides of the vehicle to give it added protection against hand-thrown explosives. The MRAP at left has not yet had the add-on installed. The curved plastic tubes running from the front to the rear of the MRAP are add-ons placed to safely push low hanging electrical wires over the vehicle.
