Landing Support Company Marines hook up a 1,000 lb. cement block to a UH46 during a drill, April 16, at Red Beach. A helicopter support team's purpose is to transfer equipment and personnel to areas that are not accessible by vehicle. They can recover fallen air craft from tricky terrain, as well as move Howitzer's and its section member from point to point in a combat zone.
