A UH46 drops Marines off on the shore off of Red Beach in Camp Pendleton, April 16. The mission was part of a helicopter support team drill. "Not only does this drill benefit the Marines, but it is also good practice for the pilots," said Cpl David C. Perry, 22, Frazeysburg, Ohio, a landing support specialist with 1st Platoon, Landing Support Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group. "A common joke is for the pilot to sand blast us, but it was inevitable here."
