Clemson University Reserve Officers Training Corps cadets James McNamara, a sophomore studying industrial engineering from Aberdeen, N.J., (with weapon), and Aaron Durham, a junior studying business from Pickens, S.C., conduct their sacred duty as honor guard for the Scroll of Honor Nov. 21, 2014. The Scroll of Honor is a circle of stones with the names of the 485 Clemson alumni who paid the ultimate sacrifice etched into them. The Clemson ROTC's elite drill unit, the Pershing Rifles, posts the guard for around the clock during the school's Military Appreciation Day. (Photo by U.S. Army Sgt. Ken Scar)
