U.S. Marines browse through fruits and vegetables that can be found in the jungles of Brunei Nov. 14 during exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training 2014 at Penanjong Garrison. Exercise CARAT contributes to regional maritime security by enhancing service members’ ability to work together at sea across a wide range of naval competencies, including maritime interdiction operations, maritime domain awareness and information sharing, and humanitarian assistance/disaster response.
