Royal Brunei Land Force Capt. Suhardy Arun, left, leads U.S. Marines out of the Jungle Warfare Training Area Survival Village Nov. 14 during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training 2014 at Penanjong Garrison. The training in each phase of CARAT varies based on shared goals and available assets of the host nations and the U.S. Each phase promotes development of cooperative maritime security capabilities, enhances relationships and increases interoperability among participating forces. Arun is the jungle operations instructor for 1st Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Force.
