Capt. Christopher Misner, commanding officer of Naval Air Station Kingsville, Texas, congratulates Navy spouses Megan Hogan (left) and Lecie Langille for being selected as the Military Spouse of the Year for their contributions and service to military families stationed at NAS Kingsville. Misner expressed his appreciation to the recipients and acknowledged the significant role they have in the military community. The Kingsville Chapter of the U.S. Navy League honored Hogan during a luncheon in October (Langille was unable to attend the event). The league is a nonprofit organization whose primary missions are to enhance the morale of active duty personnel and their families, inform Congress and the American public on the importance of strong sea services and support youth through programs such as the Naval Sea Cadet Corps, Junior ROTC and Young Marines that expose young people to the values of sea services.
