Operations Specialist 1st Class Rondell J. Minor, from Richmond, Va., has his new collar device pinned on by Senior Chief Operations Specialists Trevor Green during an advancement ceremony at Carrier Strike Group Four’s headquarters at Naval Station Norfolk. Minor has been in the U.S. navy for nearly six years and recently reported to CSG-4 from the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3), where he worked under the mentorship of Green. As a member of CSG-4, Minor assesses the job performance of other Operational Specialists throughout the fleet to ensure they are mission ready.
