Stan Bacon, Joint Task Force Civil Support deputy director of plans and policy, discusses employment of down-trace units during deployment to a man-made or natural disaster during the JTF-CS-led tabletop domestic response workshop here March 6, 2013. The three-day exercise is intended to allow federal and state military and other federal response organizations to “share knowledge and insight” and “enhance coordination” across agencies, including JTF-CS, the defense chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear response force and the CBRN response enterprise. JTF-CS anticipates, plans and prepares for CBRN response operations. (Courtesy photo)
