An estimated 2,049 warrant officers are actively serving in the Marine Corps according to a June 2014 report from the Total Force Planning and Requirements Directorate. Recently, coordinators at Marine Corps Base Hawaii hosted a seminar about the warrant officer program and offered interested Marines time to talk to actively serving chief warrant officers.
