Command Sgt. Maj. Jessie C. Harris, Jr., the 21st Theater Sustainment Command’s 39th Transportation Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade senior enlisted adviser and a native of Tallulah, La., places the 16th Sustainment Brigade patch on the shoulder of 1st Sgt. Gene L. Saunders, the 5th Quartermaster Company (Rigger), 39th Trans. Bn. first sergeant and a native of Washington, Pa., during a transfer of authority ceremony Jan. 6 at Rhine Ordnance Barracks. The 5th QM Co. transferred to the 39th Trans. Bn. from the 21st Special Troops Battalion as part of the 21st TSC’s realignment of logistics assets in Europe.
