The Humanitarian Assistance Survey Team with the Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit practiced responding and surveying natural disaster scenarios Jan. 13 at Camp Hansen. The HAST is determining how much fresh water they have in order to support the mission. The team is typically sent into a country after a natural disaster occurs in order to assess the damage and determine the amount of supply and resources are needed.
