A Soldier who received citizenship through naturalization holds his passport. The only place Soldiers can apply for a passport in Iraq is the United States Embassy located in the International Zone in Baghdad, according to Capt. Catherine Laroque, 34th Infantry Division, chief of legal assistance. Work is being done to get a passport agency located in Basra.
