Lisa Franchetti, commander, U.S. Naval Forces Korea, join the Republic of Korea Minister of Defense Han Min Koo and other senior U.S. and ROK military officers for a photo session during the establishment ceremony for the Republic of Korea navy submarine command at Chinhae. The Republic of Korea joins five other nations’ navies, including the U.S. Navy, which have command staffs dedicated to manning, training, equipping and readiness of their respective submarine forces.
