Green open area that spans for approximately 5,000 square miles makes the Cheyenne River Reservation the fourth largest Indian reservation in the United States. Senior leadership visited the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation in north central South Dakota June 16, 2014 while the 928th Area Support Medical Company participated in their Annual Training, from June 7 through June 21, 2014. The 928th ASMC participated in Golden Coyote Exercise by providing medical care at the Cheyenne River Health Center as well as setting up mobile medical centers in surrounding communities including Takini, Laplante and Dupree, S.D.
