A rigid-hulled inflatable boat from USS Gettysburg carries members of the ship's visit, board, search and seizure team and members of the U.S. Coast Guard's Maritime Safety and security Team 91112. The team inspected a dhow that was later deemed not suspect. Gettysburg is serving as the flagship of Combined Task Force 151, a Turkish-led task force led by Turkish Rear Adm. Caner Bener, which was established to conduct counter-piracy operations under a mission-based mandate throughout the CMF area of responsibility to actively deter, disrupt and suppress piracy in order to protect global maritime security and secure freedom of navigation for the benefit of all nations.
