First Lt. Jonathan Goodin, infantryman, Company B, 1st Battalion, 12 Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, reviews his target at a rifle range Feb. 23, 2015. Goodin uses a marker to identify the last rounds fired at his target as 1st. Lt. Matthew Ferlitsch, infantryman, Company B, 1st Bn., 12th Inf. Reg., provides coaching advice on how to adjust Goodin's carbine sights for the next round of bullets. Goodin and Ferlitsch are both familiarizing themselves with their individual weapons in preparation for the upcoming Expert Infantry Badge testing.
